Alycia Debnam-Carey is an Australian actor who is known for her appearances on TV programs like Fear the Walking Dead . Born in Sydney, Australia, she was first introduced to acting when she was eight. Martha's New Coat, a short film in which she appeared it, was her debut film role. In an episode of McLeod's Daughter she made her TV debut. She had a prominent role as a regular in sci-fi television series The 100. The series was based off an earlier novel. She played Commander Lexa who was a powerful chief of twelve clans. The horror TV drama Fear the Walking Dead increased her popularity. This show has been hailed by critics, as well as receiving multiple accolades. Jigsaw Girl, The Branch and other shorts have also featured her. Her feature film debut with a main character in the acclaimed found-footage movie Into the Storm . The film was a huge success commercially but received mostly poor review.
